What´s that for?
Today, I don´t know how, but we end up in the office discussing this topic. The funniest part was the guess from my Hungarian colleagues to answer this question…. turned out this is not so common as I taught!
In Hungary (and I can´t say in other parts of Europe…), it is not usual to find this douche into the toilets, so most of the people don’t know what they are for. Most probably they saw this already in Hotels or in trips to other countries but didn’t understand what this was for… and of course they were afraid to ask it … But, in Brazil this is very common; actually most of the toilets have them.
This is in fact a small douche for personal hygiene. It replaced the called and old fashion bidet.
No, it is not to clean the toilet, for that we flush!
