Délibáb… a Hungarian mirage

Délibáb is a Hungarian word to describe a phenomenon that happens at the Hortobágyi Park area.
It is a mirage, caused by an optical effect and the  conjunction of flat land, the sun, the sky, the landscape per se…

Things you can see but in fact aren´t there… feelings you have but actually you can´t understand!

This is the soul of this blog.

I may not be able to understand things in depth, even the language. But the little I feel, makes me have a need to share with my friends, make them feel a little of what it is to live here and what we can learn from the Hungarians! Moreover, show the good things that lurk in this small country.

The site http://egbolt.atw.hu/delibabok.html (where the picture above was downloaded from) explains a little more about the délibáb, but it is in Hungarian… then it is better if you trust me. Like a délibáb, you will see posts written by myself or by my friends and you will find yourself in this wonderful and imaginary trip through the Hungarian land, culture, life, cuisine, atmosphere! Only then you will understand what I mean…
